Vehicle Return Checklist

Step 1 Step 1. Required Vehicle Inspection (no cost to you)
  • 45-60 days prior to the termination of your lease, you will be contacted by DataScan Field Services (DataScan) to schedule a complimentary vehicle inspection at your home, place of business or other convenient location. Please ensure we have your current phone number on file.
  • The inspector will provide a detailed estimate of the excess wear and use charges, if any.

Step 2 Step 2. Contact Your Local Toyota Dealer
  • Your local Toyota dealer can often help with cost-effective repairs.
  • Please retain all repair receipts so that they can be provided to confirm the repairs were made.

Step 3 Step 3. Schedule Your Turn-in Appointment
  • Once repairs (if any) have been made, please contact your local Toyota dealer to schedule your turn-in appointment.

Step 4 Step 4. Turn-in Your Vehicle
  • Bring all keys, alarm system key fobs, Owner's Manual, spare tire, and third-seat (if applicable) to your turn-in appointment and provide them to the dealer representative upon vehicle return.

Step 5. Complete Your Lease Obligations
  • Sign and return the Odometer Statement mailed to you by Southeast Toyota Finance in the self-addressed envelope provided. Or print your Odometer Statement from this site.
  • If you had repairs completed prior to vehicle turn-in, include those receipts with your Odometer Statement. Make sure you send legible copies of your repair receipts, so we can properly credit your account. Please include your VIN or Southeast Toyota Finance Account Number on each receipt.
  • Call Southeast Toyota Finance at 1-866-531-4986 immediately to confirm the vehicle turn-in and the ending mileage.
