How can I reduce my principal balance?

If you are not enrolled in our Auto Pay Program, any payment you make in excess of your Total Amount Due will be credited first to any accrued Finance Charge, then to the unpaid Principal balance, and the remainder is credited to unpaid charges and will also be applied to future monthly payment(s) due. In that case, your next statement may show that your account is paid ahead.

Keep in mind that your regular monthly payments are still due on their scheduled dates, even if you also make a Principal-only payment.

If you are enrolled in our Auto Pay Program, any payment you make in excess of your Total Amount Due will be credited to the unpaid Principal balance.

To make a payment that reduces the Principal only and is not applied toward any future month payment(s) due, please make a check payable to Southeast Toyota Finance, include your account number and “Principal Only” on the memo line.  Then mail that check to:
