Updating your Account Information
How do I change my name on my account?
To change the name on your account, we need the following documentation:
A signed, written statement from you requesting the name change on your account.
Please include the complete spelling of the “new” name along with your account number.
Additionally, please send us one of the following documents to validate the name change: certified copy of marriage certificate or divorce decree, or other certified legal document. You can send us these documents through our online secure message center or by mail.

- In the "Please Explain," please let us know that you would like to change the name on your account and include the complete spelling of the "new" name.
- Upload the documents.
- Submit your request.
